Finding the right specialists for your oral health needs is crucial, and location plays a significant role in your comfort and convenience. Depending on where you reside within the township—whether near Zeeb Road, Jackson Road, or closer to the Huron River—you have easy access to both our Ann Arbor and Dexter offices.

Visiting Our Ann Arbor Office

Our Ann Arbor office is located at 2058 S State St, Ste 100, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. This location serves as a primary hub for many patients coming from Scio Township.

Driving Directions: The drive from central Scio Township to our Ann Arbor office is typically short and straightforward. Most residents can take Jackson Road East to merge onto I-94 East. Continue on I-94 East to Exit 177 for State Street. Head north on State Street, and our office will be located on the left. This route usually takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes, ensuring that top-tier oral surgery in Ann Arbor is easily accessible.

Public Transportation: For patients preferring public transit, the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) services the corridor between Scio Township and Ann Arbor. Routes connecting via the Blake Transit Center offer access to State Street, making our office accessible without a personal vehicle.

You can find our Ann Arbor location on Google Maps here: Ann Arbor Office Map.

Visiting Our Dexter Office

For Scio Township residents living in the northern or western parts of the community, our Dexter location might offer even greater convenience. Located at 7225 Dan Hoey Rd, Ste 200, Dexter, MI 48130, this office allows you to avoid downtown traffic while receiving the same high-quality care.

Driving Directions: Simply head west/north via Dexter-Ann Arbor Road or Zeeb Road toward Dan Hoey Road. The commute is often less than 10 minutes from many Scio neighborhoods.

In addition to these locations, we also serve the broader region with offices in Plymouth and Adrian, ensuring that wherever you are in Southeast Michigan, expert care is nearby.

Comprehensive Oral Surgery Services

At Michigan Oral Surgeons, we provide a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery services. We utilize the latest advancements in medical technology, including 3D scanning, to diagnose and treat various conditions with precision.

Dental Implants

If you are suffering from tooth loss, dental implants are the gold standard for tooth replacement. Unlike dentures or bridges, implants fuse with the jawbone to provide a permanent, stable foundation for artificial teeth. Our surgeons specialize in restoring both function and aesthetics, helping you regain the ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. We invite you to read our Dental Implants FAQ to learn more about the process.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Wisdom teeth, or third molars, often cause issues such as overcrowding, impaction, and infection. We specialize in safe and comfortable wisdom teeth removal for patients of all ages. Early evaluation is key to preventing future dental complications. For parents and patients with questions, our Wisdom Teeth FAQ offers valuable insights into what to expect.

All-On-4® Treatment Concept

For patients needing full-arch restoration, the All-On-4® treatment concept offers a revolutionary solution. This procedure allows for a full set of replacement teeth to be supported by just four strategically placed implants, often reducing the need for bone grafting and shortening recovery times.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most people have or will have experienced wisdom teeth removal at some point in their life. Your dentist will monitor the growth and development of your wisdom teeth and refer you to an oral surgeon if they have determined removal is in the best interest of your oral health.
In general, wisdom teeth are removed some time during the early to mid-teen years, although some patients may require treatment outside of this range. The surgical procedure and recovery tend to be easier in younger patients.
Common complications of wisdom teeth include pain, infection, dental shifting, bite alignment problems, cysts and tumors, and more.
All surgery carries some degree of discomfort. It is our job as specialists and our mission as compassionate providers to make every effort to minimize this discomfort throughout the procedure and recovery process. We offer several forms of anesthesia to keep you comfortable during surgery and will send you home with post-operative instructions to optimize your healing.Let our office know right away if you are experiencing severe pain, swelling, or bleeding after surgery. We will address this issue promptly.
